Parents Have the Greatest Impact on Their Children’s Education!

I am very aware of how parental involvement helps children. I work with over 30 families. Within these 30 families, there are about 15 of them who are actively involved with their children’s education. The other 15 families leave the educational support up to me. Now this is helpful because it helps my business, but how helpful is this for our children.
Parents need to understand how important they are to their children. What you say and the interest you show in your children is more important then you know. If a child feels anxious because their parent doesn’t seem to care about their science test tomorrow, the child will stop caring. Lack of interest could be viewed as simply a parent saying, “You just have to study!” This is not helpful.
I encourage parents; please take the time to spend just looking over your children’s work. If you have a tutor, participate in the sessions. You will be surprised how well your children will do knowing that mom or dad are there to help them. I am sorry if I am calling anyone out. This is never my intention. I just want all of us to be aware of our impact.
