Dave "Rankin" Lindsay

Managing Director, Lead Educator

As Managing Director and Lead Educator, Dave Rankin goes about his work with a sense of purpose. With the ability to see the big picture, and the resilience to ride above the hard days, Dave has made himself an asset to not only the organization, but to the community.

He has a knack for listening, adapting and knowing when to say “No,” to his students if he see’s them going down the wrong path. He remains consistent, which is why the families he works with know that they can rely on him. He creates an open path of communication so parents, and students feel comfortable coming to him about their concerns.

“When I am able to present a united front with the parents I work with, there is less of a chance that my students will fall through the cracks.”

Agar St. Rose

Martinique Partner - Sprouting Young Minds

Agar St. Rose is the Founder of Sprouting Young Minds, the sister company of Hear 2 Help located on the beautiful island of Martinique. With over 10 years experience as a certified English and French Teacher, Agar shows an enthusiasm for acquiring knowledge for the purpose of understanding, and then sharing this knowledge with her community. Her academic achievements include a Bachelors Degree in teaching from the University Des Antilles, and a BA in Criminolgy at Ryerson University, Toronto.

For her, education is more than regular attendance and multiple-choice questions. She continuously reflects on her methods, her delivery, and the way she connects with her students. Agar is sensitive to her student’s emotional needs, and finds ways to support them, by connecting to them on an emotional level. Her soothing nature helps her students open up to her. She realizes that students need mentors as much as they need teachers.

“Change is not easy. As a community, we all have to share in the struggle at the start, in order to share in the glory at the end.”
